Description

Subspecies laciniata is characteristic of remnant prairies of the mid-Willamette Valley. It puts on quite a show in the early morning as all the flowers turn toward the sun. As the seed-head matures, it forms bright white puff balls like a dandelion but does not blow away! The leaves are mottled green and maroon making a great addition to bioswales and rain gardens. Highly attractive to native bees. 1-2 ft
