Description

Mountain tarweed is the most widely distributed of all of the tarweed species and an important addition to wildland prairie restorations. It blooms in late-summer providing a critical nectar source for native bees and seeds for birds and small mammals. However, itÔÇÖs strong scent should be considered in landscaping projects.
